Go, Fight, WIN!!!

So this weekend is Desert Brawl and for those of you that don't know that is the local MMA cage fights. And I can't wait!! Ya know its not the idea of watching a bunch of testosterone ridden men beating each other up in a cage like heathens...its because I get to set up my booth for my store, talk with customers, and then yes.....I get to watch my good buddy Trev beat up "filthy Phil" haha

Thats another thing about these fights, all the fighters give themselves those silly names...so please Trevor if your reading this don't give yourself a retarded nickname, or any nickname at that.

But with this being said, GOOD LUCK TREVOR!!! Beat him up, tap him out, and I'm hoping this time he doesn't break the other dude's arm. I know it sounds pretty cool to say my best friend the cage fighter broke some guys arm, but I honestly felt pretty bad for the poor kid! I'll be sure to let ya know how the fight ends up...I'm sure victorious!!

The Hangover

Alls I have to say is I really hope everyone gets a chance to watch this movie! It is HALARIOUS!! The other night I had Katherine meet me in town after work and we had a sister date....and then the entire way home we had a quote fest! You will be peeing your pants laughing!

My Rant

There is something about editing high school english papers that just makes me SO happy that I'm done! I'm not sure if its becuase they have to write papers about A Rasin in the Sun, Death of a Salesman, and Animal Farm....or just because it high school. Either way I'm so happy that I'd done with that portion of my life. Now I just need to convince the baby of the family that just because I'm relaxing in my room doesn't mean I need to help write a paper on book that I never actually read when I was in high school either! Both Katherine and I love spark notes....best thing EVER!!
Now that I'm done with my rant I can move onto better things! :)

My dog is frickin CUTE!! And I know I'm biased but she gives Emma a run for her money! hahaha Just kidding Jess your baby is way better than my dog! Scarlette and I have been working diligently on tricks. So far we've gotten the typical commands, shake, give me ten, and now we've upgraded our fetch game. Oooh ya baby we now use a huge slingshot! This little invention does wonders it saves my arm and wears her out in no time. A few 100 yd dashes chasing her hot pink ball and she's toast! I LOVE IT!!! Every dog owner needs a huge slingshot.

So now I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to do with my next two days off!! Very rarely do I schedule myself for two consecutive days off and when I finally do God decided to flood the world again! (Well maybe just centeral OR but still.....I think he forgot he made it the HIGH DESERT) So now my plans of relaxing outside and attempting to get a tan have been demolished and I'll now end up doing laundry or something non-cool like that. BOO!

Ok ok so I know I suck horribly at blogging but I'm gonna try my hand at this one more time. So Jess and Des....this is for you! hahaha

So I've moved back to good ol Culver (since Culver is Oregon and all) a couple weeks ago. Its been quite the change but I like it so far. Nothin like mom made meals and cookies....I have this feeling I'm gonna have to be hitting the gym pretty hard again living with these kind of calories flying into my mouth. Mom and dad are adapting to living with a dog in the house again, they keep wondering why she wouldn't listen to them and only Kate and I. I just had to nicely remind them its because her name is Scarlette, not Charlotte. Once they got the name down things are running much smoother! Dad still occasionally gets her name wrong still, but since when has dad been good with names....right Jess...Kater...I mean Jill! (Thats about how it goes right seesters) Speaking of Scarlette she had her second vet appointment to get spayed and she was not a happy camper! She was my little conehead for a few days at it was pretty entertaining...she is just now getting it figured out that she can NOT chase her tail successfully with her cone on, and she CAN'T lick my feet (thats her wierd gross obsession), and she has to pick up her head if she doesn't want her cone to drag on the ground. Oh what can I say pound pups are the BEST! haha

Weekend off! Mmmm

Its my weekend away and boy am I excited! It's been a pretty stressful few weeks for me at work and all. As you all might have read I had the family over for Thanksgiving and then have been working my butt off ever since. :( Oh well money is money eh?! So here I am sitting in North Bend enjoying a few days away from Albany. (If your wondering why N. Bend I have a friend here....and the dunes) But heres a little re-cap of my week...

Mon-Tue: Not a whole heck of alot happened...just a little phone call from Kater saying she has school off because of a bomb threat. I don't know about you but I was thinking IN CULVER??? Who would want to bomb Culver its Oregon! lol I guess after having the bomb squad come check out every square inch of the premisis it was deemed safe for all the kids to return....Whew!

Wed- Work work and work....only thing that happened was my little bag of chex mix I was so excited to eat at work and as I was stuggling to open it it popped out of my hands and ended up all over the floor! :( No chex mix for me.....but a good day

Thur- DAY OFF!!! And I slept till 2:00

Fri- After returning from a day off to find that my store did not do well without me there....I had to once agian become the mean boss and threaten everyone. I was so fed up that I just about fired every one of them. But...my weekend off was coming and I'd have no one to cover so they lucked out! Next time they won't get off so easy.
OH!! And I got the new Starbucks holiday blend.....Mmmm....raise your hand if your excited!!

Sat- DUNES!!! YEAH!!!

So little re-cap of my week since I suck at blogging- Sorry sister I'll get better! I'm sure I'll have more to talk about after my weekend of nothing is over! hehehe

So I'm sad to say that I've been feeling pretty down lately. And I mean down as in sick, I started out with a tickle in my throat, and then my voice started to go, and now I CAN'T TALK AT ALL!! I think the worst part is I can't call in sick to work and I have to try to work without talking. And for those of you that know what I do I'm required to talk alot! So now here I am sittin on my couch watching Bruce Almighty in my own self pitty. :( I just want to eat a big bowl of icecream and drink lots of cider or hot coco. My means of communication will be a pen a paper and texting thank the Lord for texting! hahaha

The Whole Gang

Today was the first time in forever that we've had the whole clan together. Little miss Emma Grace was dedicated today an everyone came to witness it! She looked so beautiful in her little church outfit...but so did the rest of the family! :) After church we went back to Jess and Chad's casa and celebrated Kater's 17th birthday. I can't beleive the baby of the family is already 17!!! It makes me feel so old I can't imagine how mom and dad feel hahaha! Little Ross was such a blessing to have around too....it was so fun to see his little personality or I might want to say BIG personality! Today made me realize how amazing my family really is, not to get all mushy but I have the most amazing family of all times. So enjoy a little peice of the McWilliams/Harvey family....all the different personalities comeing together for a crazy time! Poopy my computer is being gay and won't let me upload pics so I'll have to do it another day when it's not throwing a fit! :(
