Honest People

So I had a very eventful day yesterday. I was having a very slow day at work yesterday so I decided to take an hour lunch break and go to Fred Myers with Arik to develop some pictures. So I took my very nice camera (that I love very much) and developed some pics from fathers weekend here at OSU. Arik and I ran to the deli and grabbed something to eat, and I set down my camera next to the register. Well I forgot it there, and about ten minutes later Arik went back to grab it. It was gone, we checked the whole store and the lady at the deli said she had never seen a camera on her counter. I was devistated, I cried for a while, as a broke college kid with a nice camera that I had gotten a killer deal on, I wasn't going to be able to replace it for as good a deal. Later that night Freddys called and said that my camera was found and the deli lady said she found it right next to her register. We later found out that she had taken the camera thinking it was hers, and when Arik went back and explained to her that his girlfriend was very upset about her camera missing she felt remorse and turned it back in. Thank goodness!!!! Now I have my camera back and I'm never taking it to Freddies again!

Making Turkey Day dessert!

So today is gonna be a fun day, I woke up bright and early, went to WinCo and bought all the yummy ingredients to make my pies. But since I don't like pie I'm gonna make myself a apple crip! YUMMMY! It's gonna be eventful I have this feeling that I'm gonna rip through my kitchen like a tornado and there is going to be flour and dough everywhere.
But besides baking all day I have alot to do on my little (or big) To do list:
* Grocery shopping
* Cleaning house
* Making my house dog proof for the weekend, I'm dog sitting Jess and Chad's Lucifer
* Printing off pictures for mom and dad from Dad's weekend at OSU
* Dying my hair back to normal color
* Meeting Jess and Chad at 6 for Lucy transfer
* Go back to the store to set it all up for Black Friday!

Well wish me luck for today and that my pies and crisp turn out well! Have a Wonderful Turkey Day!

Tis the Season

So right now I'm sitting on the couch counting up a huge list of things to be completed; grocery shopping, christmas shopping, signing up for a new gym membership. So much to be done and it seems like Christmas and Thanksgiving are right around the corner. I'm so excited to start listening to my favorite oldy moldy Christmas tunes! Christmas music just seems to make everyone light hearted and happy, which makes me think that I should be on the search for some punk re-mixed Christmas songs to play in my skate shop, I want all those little punks and their parents to be in a light hearted holiday shopping mood! I'm so excited for the Holidays, I know I sound retarded but doesn't everyone love the holiday spirit. I have so much family time to look forward to. Thanksgiving with Arik's family, Christmas at Jess and Chads! YEAH!!!! Oh and family, leave a comment about what you want for Christmas I'm kinda stumped.

Sunday, November 4, 2007

This week flew by! I felt like just yesterday I was getting my store all prepared for the week ahead of us. And now look....it's Sunday and I have yet another busy day ahead of myself. Arik and I are going to church for the first time together. I guess you could say church shopping. We are starting out at a small Christian church in Monmouth called Harvest valley. I'm so excited to go. They after church we're gonna go play in all the beautiful leaves in Central park, my cousin just got a new camera so we are here first experiment. I'll definitely post those pictures as soon as they turn out! Wish us luck on our church shopping!
